How do I fund my Regular Saver?
You must fund your Regular Saver account by Standing Order and/or Credit Transfer on a monthly basis.

How much can I lodge to my Regular Saver per month?*
Minimum lodgement is €100 & maximum lodgement is €1,000.  Multiple lodgements are permitted by either means but the combined value of all lodgements must not be less than €100 or more than €1,000 per calendar month

How do I set up my Standing Order (SO)?*
You can set this up directly via your online banking. Alternatively, you can download a Standing Order Mandate form at www.kbc.ie.

What if I want to change the Standing Order amount?*
The Standing Order amount can be changed at any time within the account limits. You must notify the bank where the Funding Account is held. If the funding account is held with KBC, you can amend using our online/mobile service.

What if I make a lodgement over the maximum limit of €1,000?*
If you have made a lodgement of funds over the max limit, the total lodgement will be returned to your originating account from June 2016 onwards.

Can I cancel lodgements and recommence it at a later stage?*
Yes, you can take two payment breaks per year. You can take one payment break for two months or on two separate months. You must notify the bank where the originating Account is held. If the originating account is held with KBC, you can amend using our online/mobile service.

I have received an SMS regarding conditions of my Regular Saver, what should I do now?
You should ensure all lodgements to your Regular Saver Account are within the limits as set out above.

Additional FAQ’S-KBC Extra Regular Saver Only

How do I fund my Extra Regular Saver?
You can only pay funds into the Extra Regular Saver by way of  Standing Order and /or Credit transfer from your KBC Extra Current Account to credit your Extra Regular Saver.  The Extra Regular Saver & Extra Current Account must be in the same name(s).

How much can I lodge to my Extra Regular Saver per month?
Minimum lodgement is €100 & maximum lodgement is €1,000.  Multiple lodgements are permitted by either means but the combined value of all lodgements must not be less than €100 or more than €1,000 per calendar month.

How many Extra Regular Savers can I hold?
Only one Extra Regular Saver, either in your sole name or joint name is permitted per individual.

I have an existing Regular Saver, I now wish to open an Extra Regular Saver?
You can apply to open an Extra Regular Saver once you have an Extra Current Account. Please note, you are not permitted to fund the existing Regular Saver once the Extra Regular Saver has been opened.

What if I make multiple lodgement but they are under the limit of €1,000?
Multiple lodgements are permitted but the combined value of all lodgements must not be less than €100 or more than €1,000 per calendar month.

What if I have funded both my Regular Saver & my Extra Regular Saver?
If you have funded both, any lodgements made to your Extra Regular Saver Account in July will be returned to the originating account from July 2016 onwards.

In order to avail of the Extra Regular Saver Rate, how much should I lodge monthly to my Extra Current Account?
If you fail to lodge the monthly amount of €2,000, you will lose the benefits of the Extra Regular Saver.

Can I make a once off lodgement to my Extra Regular Saver?
Yes, you can make one lump sum lodgement of up to €10k within 30 days of opening the Extra Regular Saver Account.

Please note: the additional €10,000 lodgement must be transferred in a single transaction from an Extra Current Account in the same name as the Extra Regular Saver Account.
