KBC Bank Ireland wins best technology innovation at the Digital Media Awards

KBC Bank Ireland scoops gold for best technology innovation at the Digital Media Awards beating off stiff competition at a ceremony held in the Clayton Hotel on February 15th.
KBC picked up the award in partnership with Mediaworks and the Journal.ie for their ‘Experience Your World’ campaign. ‘Experience Your World’, is a successful technology partnership between KBC, Mediaworks and the Journal.ie which allows consumers to experience spaces around them in virtual reality. The partnership gives audiences the opportunity to explore iconic landmarks, homes and even city neighborhoods in a new way - using the latest VR technology alongside exclusive data and content in what was a media first.
The ‘Experience Your World’ campaign was also recognized in the best native content category with KBC picking up the bronze award.

KBC also scooped a bronze award for its relaunched mobile app in the best in financial service category.

The features include Instant Credit Card, Digital Personal Loans and a new first to market Lost/Stolen instant card replacement service which are experienced by customers through a market-leading user interface and experience.
