This week sees the launch of our new digital partnership with MyHome.ie.
During this pilot scheme, house buyers will be able to watch 360-degree videos of houses for sale on their mobile phone, laptop or desktop computer. These virtual viewings are ideal for house hunters who want the convenience of viewing a house from home before they take time out to see it and especially those who can’t attend a viewing because of work or family commitments.
The virtual viewings will feature at the top of the ‘Open Viewings' section of MyHome.ie
and will allow users to click through to get a 360 degree view of each room in the selected property.
How does it work?
On your smartphone
To watch the videos, simply click on the link in the open viewings section which will open them in your Youtube app. Then rotate your phone or swipe the screen with your finger to move around the room. If you don’t have the youtube app, you may need to download it as only the app can show 360 videos. Please bear in mind that 360 videos are larger files and can take time to load.
To view the videos on your desktop you’ll need the latest version of Chrome or Firefox as 360 videos are not yet supported on Safari or Internet Explorer. Simply open the video and use your mouse to navigate around the room. Please bear in mind that 360 videos are larger files and can take time to load.
All the videos will feature on our Youtube channel
as well as on the MyHome app and DNG.ie
