KBC Dublin Marathon Competition

Terms & Conditions

  1. By participating in this competition, you will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Any entry not in strict accordance with these Terms and Conditions will be deemed invalid.

  2. The competition will run from 21.09.21 until midnight 05.10.2021.

  3. Eligibility:

    1. You must be over 18 years of age

    2. Entrants must follow the instructions on the competition post on Facebook by midnight on 05.10.2021. Entries received after this date shall not be considered valid.

  4. The prize is 1 x KBC Dublin Marathon Goodie Bag

  5. Entrants may only submit one entry to the competition.

  6. The prize is as stated in Clause 4 of the terms and conditions above. The prize is not transferable and not exchangeable. No cash or other alternative will be offered in lieu of the prize.

  7. The prize will be distributed to winners within 10 working days of notification.

  8. KBC Bank Ireland plc (“KBC”) reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel, withdraw or change the competition prize and/or terms and conditions at any time, for any reason, without notice.

  9. The winning entrant will be selected at random by a KBC staff member from all valid entries to the competition received by the closing date.

  10. KBC accepts no responsibility or liability for incorrect or incomplete entries.

  11. The winner will be notified on the thread and asked to private message their details. You should follow the page in order to do this.

  12. In the event that the winner declines the prize or does not respond to the notification, KBC may award the prize to another entrant, selected at random.

  13. The decision of KBC will be final and binding on all entrants. KBC will not enter into any correspondence in this regard.

  14. This competition is not open to directors, management, employees or appointed intermediaries of KBC and their agents or to any other person connected with this competition.

  15. KBC Bank Ireland plc reserves the right to verify the validity of entrants, and to disqualify any entrant who does not act in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of this competition.

  16. The winning entrants grant KBC permission to publish his/her/their names for advertising and promotional purposes without additional notification or consent being required.

  17. The competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with the social media site it appears on.

  18. KBC is excluded from liability for any loss, damage, death  or injury which might occur to the entrant or any other person with whom the winner shares the prize.

  19. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland and any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.

Entrant’s data will be collected, stored and processed for the purposes of administering and assessing the competition and shall be deleted after the competition has closed and the winner has been announced. By entering the competition, you will be deemed to have consented to the collection and processing of your data.
