Investing shouldn’t be confusing. Here we break down the jargon and answer the most frequent questions we get about investments.

Investments 101

    • KBC invest your money in shares and bonds, which could help you beat inflation, whereas savings typically pay a fixed or variable interest rate.  Both savings and investments can be made in lump sums or on a regular, monthly basis.

As with everything there are risks, the value of your investment may go down as well as up.

  •  Tap2Invest is our investment product that was offered entirely through the KBC app. It is a non-advisory product, which means you could invest through the app without having to complete a Risk Profile or answer any questions from our Investment Executives.

Tap2Invest Extra is our advisory investment journey and you had the option to take advice by contacting our dedicated team.

On 7th December 2021 KBC paused the acceptance of new applications for Investments including new applications from KBC customers. As at the 12th January 2022 existing investment customers can no longer make contributions to their funds.

  • You can access your funds any time using our mobile app - tracking or amending your existing investment, or to cash out.
    • All KBC investment funds have a 1% entry fee. There is no fee or charge for encashing all or part of your investment at any time.

Our investment funds also have an annual management fee which differs according to the fund chosen. Our historic returns, where quoted, are always net of the management fee.
