Installing the App on a new phone

If you still have your old phone:

On your old phone:

Step 1:
Login to your KBC App on your old phone

Step 2:
From the main menu select 'Security' and then the option to "switch device". 

(If you want to continue using the KBC App on your old phone, choose "activate device" instead)

Step 3:
Enter your 6 digit PIN to generate a new activation code

On your new phone:

Step 4: 
Download the App onto your new phone and click on 'Activate my app'

Step 5:
Click on 'I have an activation code and follow the steps.

You will need:

  • Your User ID

  • Activation Code

  • Mother's Maiden Name

Step 6: 
Create a 6 digit PIN to complete your activation

If you no longer have your old phone but have access to Online Banking

Go to KBC Online Banking and login  
Download the app on your new device
Go to the security section of Online banking and click Get Mobile Banking
Follow the steps to generate a new activation code
Enter your User ID and Activation code into the app

Don't know your User ID?

  1. Go to KBC Online Banking and choose Forgotten ID
  2. You will need to know the last 8 digits of your IBAN and your security information.
  3. Follow the steps and your User ID will be shown on screen.
