What happens next?

If you are entering a repayment arrangement then there are a number of steps which must be followed to ensure that the arrangement is implemented.

1. We will write to you

We will notify you of the details of the arrangement in writing. This is known as the Letter of Variation (LOV) which you will need to read carefully.

2. You will need to review the LOV

If you are satisfied with the terms of the offer all parties to the mortgage will need to sign and return the LOV to KBCI. This will enable us to put the arrangement in place for you.

NOTE: The LOV is an extremely important document and you must read it thoroughly, sign it and return the signed copy to KBCI if you are satisfied with it. We recommend that you seek advice when reviewing the LOV.

3. Keeping in contact

Once the arrangement is put in place, our Arrears Support Team will continue to keep in touch with you to make sure that the arrangement remains appropriate for you. Should your circumstances change it is very important that you make immediate contact with KBCI to discuss your situation so that we can review other options that may be appropriate for you. Our team will always be on hand to help and support you through the process.

Other alternative options

We will notify you in writing where we have not been able to agree an alternative repayment arrangement. We appreciate that it is difficult for our customers who find themselves in this situation, but we will continue to work with you and support you through this challenging time.
