What's happening?
KBC Business Credit Cards are not moving to Bank of Ireland and will, therefore, close at a date in the future.
What to expect...
Customers have received a letter from KBC providing at least 6 months’ notice that KBC Business Credit Card Accounts will close on the 03rd February 2023. This letter has further details on any actions customers need to take.
What you need to do...
You should continue to make your credit card payments as normal. Make sure your contact details are correct and up to date so we can keep you updated. Please make any secondary/additional card holders aware of any updates.

Your Credit Card


Customers have received a letter from KBC providing at least 6 months’ notice that KBC Business Credit Card Accounts will close on the 03rd February 2023. This letter has further details on any actions customers need to take

Any outstanding balances, fee & charges, stamp duty will need to be paid as part of the closure. Should you have any concerns about your ability to repay please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

You may, of course, close your Credit Card Account at any time by writing to us with your instructions at KBC Business Support Team, KBC Bank Ireland, Sandwith Street, Dublin 2.

What does this announcement mean for my existing Business Credit Card?

If you have an existing KBC Business Credit Card, after the 15 July 2022 existing customers can no longer apply for an increase to their Credit limit. However, you can continue to use your Business Credit Card and indeed request a decrease to your limit at any time.

Business Credit Cards will not move to Bank of Ireland. Business Credit Cards will need to be closed by KBC at a given date in the future

Important Information about your KBC Business Credit Card


Lending Criteria, Terms and Conditions Apply. 
    • Minimum Credit Limit €500
    • Contactless payments
    • Each Cardholder’s transactions are detailed separately on the monthly statement
    • All card balances paid by one monthly direct debit
    • Choose from 4 different payment due dates
    • Cash Advance facility available
    • Annual Fee Applies, see below for details
Warning: if you do not meet the repayments on your credit facility agreement, your account will go into arrears. This may affect your credit rating which may limit your ability to access credit in the future
