KBC Bank Ireland has been recognised for the fifth year running as having the best reputation of any retail bank in Ireland according to the annual RepTrak study.
Through the RepTrak study, the Reputation Institute produces the most comprehensive study of corporate reputations undertaken in Ireland and the results of its seventh annual report were published today.
RepTrak ranks the largest organisations in Ireland, including indigenous, multinational and semi-state bodies, and rates how highly these organisations are held in terms of esteem, respect and trust, and how the general public feels about them. It studies how an organisation rates across key areas such as performance, innovation, leadership, products and services, governance, workplace and citizenship.
Discussing the RepTrak result, Wim Verbraeken, Chief Executive, KBC Bank Ireland said: "KBC is delighted to be acknowledged by RepTrak as Ireland’s top-ranking retail bank in terms of reputation for the fifth consecutive year. KBC has been in Ireland for over 40 years now, and during that time we have evolved into a full service retail bank, expanded our retail hub network and invested significantly in our online and mobile platforms. This has enabled KBC to establish strong connections with our customers and respond with consistency to their personal banking needs.”
"As Ireland’s newest retail bank, we are also working to connect with the communities we live and work in and our Bright Ideas initiative has resonated with customers, staff and the wider public in cities, towns and villages across Ireland. In the past two years we have funded over 70 local community projects, and are open for applications again this year to help more innovative community groups transform their locality with funding and support from KBC.”
“I would like to acknowledge the ongoing commitment and dedication of our team across Ireland, who work so hard to make customers service a priority at KBC. Today’s award is testament to their commitment and focus, and we look forward to building on this foundation in the years ahead.”
