As we prepare for the transfer of your account(s) to Bank of Ireland in Q1 2023, we wanted to make you aware of a number of changes to services which we will need to put in place in the future to ensure the smooth transfer of your account(s) to Bank of Ireland. There may also be additional changes to services and we will keep this page up to date with further information.
You will also have or are due to receive communications from Bank of Ireland with further important information regarding the transfer of your account(s). Please read these and any future communications carefully.

The transfer of Credit Cards to Bank of Ireland is expected in Q1 2023. As we approach the transfer date there are a number of services which KBC will not be able to implement or will implement differently to ensure the smooth transfer of your account.
In advance of the transfer, there may be actions that you ask us to complete on your account. In some cases we will be required to take your instruction to make the change and provide this to Bank of Ireland who will complete the action when your account transfers in Q1 2023. At that time there may be a short delay in actioning some of your requests. You will find more information in the table below.

Direct Debit is usually collected on the 24th January 2023 or 06th February 2023

You will need to organise to make a manual repayment within 25 days of your Direct Debit usually being paid. Your direct debit will transfer to Bank of Ireland.

For now continue to use your KBC Credit Card.
A new physical KBC card or PIN could not be delivered and activated before your Bank of Ireland card is ready to use. In the meantime you should continue contact us if your card is lost or stolen. Bank of Ireland will be in touch to tell you when your Bank of Ireland Credit Card is ready to use. |

Closing your account: For a period in advance of the transfer of your account the 35 day notice period will not apply if you are closing your account.
The notice period will continue to apply if you are making a withdrawal. This instruction will be passed to Bank of Ireland and they will pay out from your account. |
