KBC has 'best corporate reputation' in Irish retail banking for fifth consecutive year

KBC Bank Ireland has been recognised for the fifth year running as having the best reputation of any retail bank in Ireland according to the annual RepTrak study.

Through the RepTrak study, the Reputation Institute produces the most comprehensive study of corporate reputations undertaken in Ireland and the results of its seventh annual report were published today.

RepTrak ranks the largest organisations in Ireland, including indigenous, multinational and semi-state bodies, and rates how highly these organisations are held in terms of esteem, respect and trust, and how the general public feels about them. It studies how an organisation rates across key areas such as performance, innovation, leadership, products and services, governance, workplace and citizenship.

Discussing the RepTrak result, Wim Verbraeken, Chief Executive, KBC Bank Ireland said: "KBC is delighted to be acknowledged by RepTrak as Ireland’s top-ranking retail bank in terms of reputation for the fifth consecutive year. KBC has been in Ireland for over 40 years now, and during that time we have evolved into a full service retail bank, expanded our retail hub network and invested significantly in our online and mobile platforms. This has enabled KBC to establish strong connections with our customers and respond with consistency to their personal banking needs.”
