Typical Interest Rate Terms

KBC Bank Ireland provides competitive interest rate terms for each of our corporate and business banking clients. The interest rate charged on our corporate and business banking loans are priced according to our risk assessment of each specific case. In general terms the interest rate charged is comprised as the aggregate of the following:

1. The margin % per annum; and
2. The rate which represents KBC Bank Ireland’s cost of funding funds of like amount on the European Interbank Market or London Interbank Market for the chosen interest period (e.g. three months); and
3. Increased Costs (if any) calculated in accordance with our Standard Terms and Conditions.

In addition and subject to agreement with KBC Bank Ireland, the client may fix the interest rate for all or part of the facility for all or some of the duration of the facility in accordance with our Standard Terms and Conditions.
