Health Minister named in Stubbs Gazette

The Health Minister, Dr James Reilly has been named as a co-defaulter of E1.9m in debt in Stubbs Gazette along with other directors in the context of his involvement with a private nursing home.

The default registrations was taken for failing to comply with a High Court order relating to the purchase of a nursing home in Carrick-on-Suir, Co Tipperary.

Stubbs Gazette Managing Director James Treacy said having a judgment registered against an individual would have an adverse impact on their personal credit rating.

Sinn Fein's Gerry Adams and Fianna Fail called on Mr Reilly to make a full statement about his financial affairs and how he intends to deal with the judgment registered against him.
